About Irene
Empowering all to be a lifelong swimmer
I was born and raised in San Jose. I have two children, both who are competing at a local Bay Area swim club.
I've been teaching swimming to all ages and abilities for 25 years. I specialize in introducing beginners to swimming, helping those with little or no experience develop water confidence quickly and effectively. I also work on helping young swimmers attain swim team readiness - teaching them all 4 competitive strokes, as well as improving their endurance and technique.
